Your applications#

Everything you have applied to or started an application for is at careers.globalfurry.tv/account/applications, newest first. A role that has since closed stays on the list, so you can always reread what you applied for.

Your account overview shows the same three counts as tiles: applications, saved roles, and outstanding tasks.

Screenshot pendingMy applications, with the four filter tabs above the list.
Every application, newest first. Closed roles stay on the list.

The four tabs#

  • All
  • In progress, meaning started and not yet confirmed, or waiting on the team.
  • Applied
  • Closed

What each status means#

StatusWhat it means
StartedYou opened the application form and have not told us whether you submitted it. Answer the question and this moves on.
AppliedYou confirmed you applied. The team has it.
Being readSomebody is reading it.
ShortlistedYou are on the short list for the role.
InterviewingThe team is arranging or has arranged a conversation with you.
OfferedThe role has been offered to you.
AcceptedYou have the role. That posting is closed to you from then on.
Not this timeYou were not chosen for this one. It says nothing about the next.
WithdrawnYou withdrew.

A status changes when somebody on the team changes it, so it moves in its own time. Nothing on this page is on a timer, and a role sitting at Applied for a while means nobody has picked it up yet.

There is no email on this site, so nothing about a status change arrives in your inbox. It appears here, and on Telegram too if you have linked it.

Rows that ask you something#

A row with an unanswered question about it says Answer the question about this one and reopens the panel from Applying. Until that is answered you cannot start another application to the same role.

Withdrawing#

Most applications carry Withdraw. It is not offered on one that is already withdrawn. Nor on one the team has closed out as accepted or not this time, since there is nothing left to withdraw from. It asks you to confirm, and it tells you what it does before you do:

  • The team stops considering you for the role.
  • The waiting period is cleared, so you can apply again if you change your mind.
  • The team can see that you withdrew, and when.

Anything you already sent through the role's application form is held by Google and is not deleted by withdrawing. Ask the team if you need it removed.

Offline#

This page keeps a copy on your device and opens with no connection. It says which day the copy was saved on, and nothing on it can be changed until you are back online.
